T4T Kochi - A Report

The First ever Soft Skills Trainer's conference in Kerala "Trainers 4 Tomorrow" .

The event , though a small beginning, has been well received and appreciated by all the participants.

We started off the program with a special tribute to the Late President A.P.J Abdul Kalam, who can be called as the "Guru of Trainers". Film Star Biyon did the inauguration and a tribute to APJ. There were Two Technical Sessions. First one led by Mr. Prasanna Venkiteshwaran, South India Regional Mgr of Cambridge University Press (Exams division) , where he spoke of the importance of certifications as well as the importance of learning English as a skill. He highlighted the fact that Educational Institutions today are spending lakhs of rupees towards conducting various training programs, but the investment in English and soft skills training could enhance employability by upto 70%. He was accompanied by Mr.Vineesh Kumar, regional consultant, based in Trivandrum.

The second technical session was led by Mr. Francis Xavier , Co-founder and CTO of LiveTutor Solutions, who enthralled the audience with live demonstration of latest Technology based training methods like Collaborative training & learning, E-training, blended learning, augmented reality, etc.

The highlight of the event was the "Trainer Talks" - a ten minute presentation by each Trainer Participant on various topics like Life coaching, NLP, Positive thinking, motivation, entrepreneurial coaching, emotional intelligence etc, to name a few. Each Trainer made a short but memorable presentation on their expertise area. The audience got inspired so well as they got to see and listen to over 20 trainers at one go!

The Trainer Talks were beautifully anchored and hosted by Ms.Chandra Vadhana (CEO of 4Tune Factory), who is also a leading Radio Jockey, Anchor and an accomplished Trainer herself.

We are also planning to form a Trainers 4 Tomorrow forum for ensuring quality of Trainers for both Corporate and Educational requirements. All trainers who wants to get empanelled with T4T will be required to present in front of the Advisory panel and their "Trainer Talks" will be videotaped during similar conferences. Also, a background check as well as qualification verification will be done by this Advisory Panel. This way, organisations can ensure the quality of trainers they hire.

With the success story in Kochi..T4T is coming soon to Calicut, Trivandrum and to other parts of the country.
